Cookie policy
Falconzo uses only what it needs to keep you signed in and remember how you like the interface set up. No advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

The short version
Falconzo uses a cookie to keep you signed in, and stores a few interface preferences on your device. That is all.
There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party analytics or marketing trackers in the product or on this website. Nothing here follows you to other sites, and we do not sell or share browsing information.
What we store and why
Signing you in
When you sign in, the service sets one cookie so that your session survives a page reload and you are not asked for your password on every visit. It is marked httpOnly, which means the code running in the page cannot read it, and it is limited to the single address used to renew a session. The short-lived token that authorises each request is kept in the page's memory only and disappears when you close the tab.
This cookie is strictly necessary. Without it there is no way to know that you are signed in, so it is not something you can switch off while continuing to use your account.
Interface preferences
Falconzo remembers how you like the interface arranged, using your browser's local storage rather than cookies. Local storage stays on your device and is not sent to us with each request. What is kept there:
- Your light or dark theme, so the right one appears immediately instead of flashing the wrong one while your account loads.
- Table preferences, such as which columns you show, the order you put them in and the filters you last used on a list.
- Inbox layout preferences, such as whether the side rail is collapsed, and any views you have saved for yourself in the mail inbox.
These are conveniences. Clearing them costs you a bit of setup, not access.
Support diagnostics
Our support team may ask you to set a single value in local storage that turns on extra logging in your browser console while we investigate a problem. It is off unless you turn it on, it only writes messages to your own console, and you can remove it at any time.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No cross-site or cross-device tracking.
- No third-party analytics, heatmap or session recording tools.
- No social media tracking pixels.
If that changes, we will update this page and, where consent is required, ask for it before anything is set.
Cookies set by other services
When you connect a mailbox or a messaging channel, you are sent to that provider's own authorisation screen. That screen belongs to the provider, and the provider may set its own cookies while you are there, under its own policy. We have no control over that and no access to those cookies.
Email images and tracking
This is not about cookies, but people usually ask in the same breath. Remote images inside a message are blocked until you choose to load them, because loading a remote image can tell the sender that you opened the message. The choice is yours, per message.
Controlling what is stored
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data. The controls are usually under privacy or site settings, and you can normally clear data for one site without touching the rest.
Two things are worth knowing before you block storage for Falconzo:
- Blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in. You will be signed out on reload, and the app will be unusable while it is blocked.
- Blocking local storage means the product forgets your preferences. It still works, and it falls back to sensible defaults, but your theme, column layouts and saved inbox views reset each time.
Signing out clears your session. Clearing site data in your browser removes the preferences described above from that device.
