Leads
Enquiries, before they are customers
Keep new interest in one list, work out quickly whether it is real, and turn the good ones into contacts, companies and deals without retyping a thing.

Why leads are kept apart from your customers
A list you trust and a list you are still checking should not be the same list.
Not every enquiry deserves a place in your customer records. A form filled in at three in the morning with a free email address and no phone number is not the same thing as a returning customer, and mixing the two makes both lists less useful.
So a lead is deliberately small: a name, a company written as plain text, an email, a phone number, a source and a status. At this stage you are finding out whether there is work here, not building a file.
An agency with two salespeople can then see something worth knowing. How many enquiries came in this month, where from, and how many turned into deals worth chasing.
What a lead carries
A light record for early interest
Name, company as free text, email and phone. No need to create a company record for an enquiry that may never go anywhere.
A status everyone reads the same way
New, Contacted, Qualified, Unqualified, Converted. Five words that tell the next person exactly where things stand.
Source
Record where the enquiry came from, so that after a few months you know which channels are worth paying for.
An owner from the start
Assign the lead to a person. An enquiry that belongs to everybody is an enquiry nobody rings back.
Enquiries that arrive by themselves
Facebook and Instagram lead forms create leads in Falconzo, instead of sitting unread in an advertising account nobody logs into.
Conversion in a single step
Converting a qualified lead can create the contact, the company and the deal together, carrying the details across as it goes.
From enquiry to deal
A garden design studio gets an enquiry on a Monday. Here is the shape of the week.
The enquiry lands
Somebody submits an Instagram lead form, or a colleague adds the call that came in at lunchtime. Either way it appears as a lead with the status New.
Give it a name and a deadline
Assign an owner and set a task for the first call. An enquiry with a person against it within the hour is an enquiry that gets answered.
Make contact and write down what was said
Ring or email, move the status to Contacted, and note the budget, the timescale and the thing they actually care about.
Decide, out loud
Qualified if there is real work with a budget and a date. Unqualified if not, with a note saying why, so nobody starts the same conversation from scratch in six weeks.
Convert the good ones
Convert the lead. Falconzo can create the contact, the company they work for and a deal for the job in one move, and marks the lead Converted.
Carry on in the deal
From here the work lives on the deal and moves through your pipeline stages. The lead stays as a record of where it all began.
Where leads come from
Enquiries arrive on whatever channel the customer chose
Nobody enquires the way you would prefer. They message on WhatsApp, they reply to an Instagram story, they fill in a Facebook form, they email an address printed on a van two years ago.
Falconzo brings those channels together. Facebook and Instagram lead forms create leads directly, messages arrive in a shared inbox and can be linked to a record, and email is matched to the CRM by address.
- Facebook and Instagram lead forms create leads automatically
- WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram conversations can be linked to the lead they belong to
- Enquiries taken on the phone can be added by hand in a few seconds

Conversion
Nothing is retyped when a lead becomes real
Retyping is where details go missing. A phone number gets a digit wrong, a company name loses its Ltd, and the note explaining what they actually want stays behind on the old record.
Converting a qualified lead in Falconzo can create all three records at once: the contact, the company, and the deal for the work. From that point the customer has a proper place in the CRM and the deal has a value, a stage and an owner.

What you end up with
A single queue of new interest that somebody is responsible for, where every enquiry has been answered or explicitly ruled out. No more wondering whether that form submission from last week was ever chased.
You also learn something about your own marketing. When source and status are filled in as a habit, the question of where good work comes from stops being a matter of opinion.
Stop losing enquiries between apps
Book a walkthrough and we will show you how a form submission becomes a lead, and a lead becomes a deal you can actually track.
What happens either side of a lead
- Meta lead forms feed enquiries from Facebook and Instagram straight into the list.
- Contacts and companies are created for you when a lead converts.
- Deals take over once there is a real job with a value and a date.
- Automations can react the moment a lead form is submitted, so the first response is never late.
